What we do

Inspection, testing and repair on DOT 406, 407, 412 and MC-series cargo tanks.

Testing

Annual external visual + leakage test
The yearly 180.407 pair: external visual inspection and leakage test, with certificate.
Internal visual inspection
Confined-space internal inspection of the shell, heads and lining.
Pressure test (hydrostatic)
Five-year hydrostatic retest of the tank and piping.
Thickness test
Ultrasonic wall thickness survey for unlined tanks in corrosive service.
Upper coupler inspection
Fifth wheel plate and mounting inspection on tank semitrailers.

Repair

Cargo tank repair
Repair to the tank itself: shell, heads, baffles and the hardware mounted to it.
Vapor vent rebuild
Vapor vents rebuilt or replaced and set back to seal.
Belly valve rebuild
Belly valves rebuilt or replaced, seats and seals included.
Valve rebuild or replacement
Any other valve attached to the tank trailer, rebuilt or swapped.
Minor suspension repair
Airbags, shocks, hangers and related running gear.
Electrical repair
Trailer wiring, lighting and electrical faults traced and repaired.

Overfill protection install and programming
Garnet, Titan and Scully overfill protection systems fitted and programmed.
Overfill protection repair
Garnet, Titan and Scully systems diagnosed, repaired and reprogrammed.
Fuel flow meter install and repair
Fuel flow meters fitted, serviced and repaired.
